No Flags Flying at Stormont

Stormont is the parlimentry building in Northern Ireland. The D.C. of N.I.! Niamh, through her summer job, was given a pass that allowed us access to have a wee nosie around! One thing that stood out to me is that there was no flags flying on the roof, although there were two very prominant flag polls. Niamh's explination is that half of the politicians wouldn't come into work if there was a British flag flaying and the other half wouldn't come if the Republic of Ireland's flag was flying.
